PM BHATTARAI SAYS MAOIST PLA HAS BEEN DISSOLVED UPDATE

Kathmandu, 12 April: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said Thursday the
the Maoist has been procedurally dissolved by this week’s decision of the special committee he heads.
He said a state of one state , two armies has also ended in an address to the nation over radio and television from the hall of the National planning Commission in Singha Durbar
The premier said he’ll make ‘necessary contribution for a national government’/
‘National government is needed I appeal to all
for formation of a national government, ‘he said.
But in another breadth, Bhattarai said his government had begun work to draft a n annual budget [normally expected din government] and added many of programmescouldn;t be implemented.
‘Government hasn’t been able to implement its wishes.”
Bhattarai said foreign policy was his government’s priority and added
The just concluded visit of Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao ‘contributed to the strengthening of ties ‘between the two countries.
The premier dwelt at length of the work and achievements of his 7-month government and He offered New Year 2069 greetings to countrymen and said New Nepal ‘jas a bright future’.
The premier referred to the week-long clean-up campaign of the capital that
concluded Thursday.
“I am surprised by the negative comments,” he said.
He regretted he couldn’t ‘give more time to political issues’
