NEW MINISTER WARNED OF A SACK BY PM IF STRIKE THREAT NOT WITHDRAWN
Kathmandu, 15 April: Malbar Singh Thapa, appointed Labout Minister on behalf of Janamukti Party, has been warned by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai he’ll be dismissed if a strike isn’t withdrawn, Nagarik reports.
Unofficial discussions were held by Thapa with central members following the warning of the prime minister
Minister Thapa is also party chairman.
“The prime minister told me he’ll remove me if the strike isn’t withdrawn. I assured I”ll convince the party.” Thapa told Nagarik
He told the premier he’ll leave the minister’s quarter and go home if he’s unable to convince party leaders.
