PRACHANDA SAYS HE TOOK RISK TUESDAY
Kathmandu, 11 April:-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he had to show courage and take a great risk while making Tuesday's decision on the army
Integration, RSS reports.

Addressing the second national convention of the All Nepal Progressive Health Professionals Association in the Capital on Wednesday, Maoist Chairman Dahal said that people's desire for a new constitution has motivated him to take the significant decision on the army integration.

Tuesday's decision was an attempt to defend those forces that were conspiring to halt the constitution drafting by demanding the completion of the peace process first.

The Maoist Chairman further admitted that there was disagreement regarding the decision and the party would discuss on the matter later.

The UCPN-Maoist has already fulfilled its responsibility on the peace process and now it the turn of other remaining parties to complete their respective duty.

Federalism without guarantee of ethnic identity was not possible in the context of Nepal, he said adding that UCPN-Maoist would lose its existence if federalism sans ethnic identity was implemented in Nepal.

Not only the army integration but the issues of forming the truth and reconciliation commission, commission for the enforced disappearance and reconstruction of the infrastructures damaged during the conflict were all part of the peace process.In another note, leader Dahal said he was committed to his best, on behalf of his capacity, to resolve the problems in the country's health sector

DSP KICKING ABANDONED BOMB INJURED
Kathmandu, 11 April DSP Ramesh Basnet at Kohalpur in Nepalgunj was injured when he kicked an abandoned socket bomb at a field in Banke
Two other bombs were defused.
