FORMER IGP MOTILAL BOHARA CONVICTED OF CORRUPTION UPDATE
Kathmandu, 3 April: Former IGP Motilal Bohara was convicted Tuesday of corruption by a full bench of the special court
He was fined Rs.2.683 million and sentenced to a 18-month jail term for possessing assets disproportionate to his income.
His fixed assets , including shares and bank balances, willl be seized.
Supreme court last November revived corruption charges against Bohara and another former IGP Achyut Krishna Kharel and sent it to the special court for reconsideration.
