Kathmandu, 26 April: Fresh differences between the Big Three and Madeshbadi front have cropped as Maoist proposed 10 provinces Thursday in a federal structure,
UML propaganda Pradip Geywali said.
The opposition has called an emergency meeting of the party central committee Fridayto discuss the developments.
Geywali said the proposal is new and didn’t figure in discussions at a conclave of major parties during a Hattiban Resort retreat.
A meeting between the Big Three and Madeshbadi Morcha ended inconclusively Thursday.
Meanwhile, rebel Baidhaya group in the UCPN (Maoist) rejected an elected executive president proposed b the establishment.
Secretary CP Gajurel, who has joined the Baidhaya camp, said an elected executive president will be harmful and proposed a parliamentary system.

SCHEDULED CA MEET POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY
Kathmandu, 26 April: A scheduled meeting of the constituent assembly (CA) Thursday was postponed until Sunday without conducting any business.
