CHAIRMAN PRACHANDA PM BHATTARAI HOLD DISCUSSIONS
Kathmandu, 2 May: Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam
Bhattarai held discussions Wednesday as opposition mounted pressure on the seven-month government to resign to pave way for a national consensus government.
A rebel faction of First Vice-chairman Mohan Baidhaya is also demanding the resignation of the Seven-month Bhattarai government.
The Maoist chief has been lending firm support to Bhattarai against both moves on and
outside the party.
Party sources said Prachanda and Bhattarai discussed
action plans to meet demands for a consensus government.
