RULING COALITION DECIDE FOIL NO-CONFDENCE VOTE
Kathmandu, 2 May: The ruling coalition partner—Maoists and a front of
Madeshbadi parties—Wednesday met and decided to face the
no-confidence motion threatened by NC and UML.
The ruling parties denounced the opposition move.
MJF-R acting Chairman Raj Kishore Yadav said the move will be defeated without an opposition majority.

UML STANDING COMMITTEE DECIDED TO DEMAND PM BHATTARAI’S RESIGNATION
Kathmandu, 2 May: Following the main opposition NC, another opposition
UML standing committee Wednesday decided to immediately call for the resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai for a constitution
The committee has concluded that the prime minister should step down
immediately in order to promulgate the new constitution ” UML Secretary
Yubaraj Gyawali said.
The UML decision comes as senior leaders publicly supported NC n itsbid to from a national consensus government.
