MAOIST WORKPLAN TO REGAIN FOOTHOLD IN TERAI Kathmandu, 12 May: Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal said on Saturday that his party was planning to bring a work plan within a few days to address the problems seen in the Tarai-Madhes. At a meeting with the leaders and cadres of the Maoist party's Bhojpura State Committee at his residence, Dahal said that efforts were underway to find a scientific way to this end adding that the party office-bearers' meeting will find a best possible way to address the problems, Maoist advisor Jalim Miya quoted Dahal as saying. On the occasion, party cadres and leaders urged party Chairman Dahal to bring work plans of party purification campaign, linking party to the daily livelihood of people and others, Miya added. During the meeting, Dahal said the party was planning to move ahead by resolving the problems seen in Tarai-Madhes adding that party organisation was becoming slightly weaker in the region. Party's Madhes Bureau In-charge Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, Bhojpura State Committee Secretary Anjana Bisenkhe among others were present on the occasion. nnnn
