NC PARLIAMENTARY PARTY DISCUSSING NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST BHATTARAI GOVT.
Kathmandu, 2 May: Main opposition parliamentary party is meeting Wednesday
to discuss a no-confidence motion against the seven-month government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
A joint meeting of the party’s central committee and
parliamentary party Tuesday asked three top leaders President Sushisls Koirala, senior leader and three-time Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice-president and parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Paudel to start moves for the ouster of the Bhattarau government supported by another opposition party UML.
The premier with the support of Madeshbadi parties instead is asking opposition to join him to expand the government to give it a national character to complete peace and constitution drafting processes.

PM BHATTARAI INTERVENES TO STOP ARMS SUPPLIES INDIA WAS READY TO SUPPLY TO NEPAL ARMY
Kathmandu, 2 May: The government of India was apparently ready to resume
arms supply to the Nepal Army , but a last minute intervention by Prime
Minister Baburam Bhattarai stalled the whole move, Reporter writes.
A letter to Dr. Manmohan Singh with subject mentioned in “WAIT FOR A
WHILE” in full caps by Dr.. Bhattarai citing the possible demoralization in the
Maoist combatants in front of well-equipped Nepal Army as the cause of the
concerns stalled the process that India was keep o resume.
