PARTY MEETING RESCHEDULED FOR AFTERNOON
Kathmandu, 20 May: A meeting of the three major parties and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has been put off on Sunday morning, RSS reports.
The meeting was put off due to banda called by Indigenous Ethnic Struggle Committee, said leader of the CPN-UML, Surendra Pandey.
The meeting was scheduled for this morning to find out solution after various sectors protested the agreement of May 15 made among the three major political parties on 11 federal provinces.
It is said that the meeting was postponed after leaders of the CPN-UML could not reach at the Prime Minister´s official residence, Baluwatar, though leaders of the UCPN (Maoist) and the Nepali Congress were present there.
The next meeting of the parties is scheduled for 5:00 pm today [Sunday] at the Secretariat of the Army Integration Special Committee, Baneshwor, it is learnt.
