PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE MEETS
Kathmandu, 12 May: A Prachanda sub-committee that was revived Friday by the main constitution drafting committee of Nilambar Acharya to resolve themes to be incorporated in a constitution meets Saturday to again resolve differences on 117 differences.
The responsibility has again been given to a body which failed to meet the
entrusted tasks.
The sub-committee headed by the Maoist chief has leaders of top parties, including NC, UML and Madeshis as members.
Besides, the Prachanda sub-committee, the constituent assembly (CA) is also scheduled to meet Saturday.
The CA meet will probably have to be postponed for the ninth time again if disputes
aren’t settled Saturday by the Prachanda sub-committee; the CA won’t have any business to conduct.
The assembly will vote on articles of a constitution without consensus on them
between parties.
