PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE MEETS Kathmandu, 12 May: A Prachanda sub-committee that was revived Friday by the main constitution drafting committee of Nilambar Acharya to resolve themes to be incorporated in a constitution meets Saturday to again resolve differences on 117 differences. The responsibility has again been given to a body which failed to meet the entrusted tasks. The sub-committee headed by the Maoist chief has leaders of top parties, including NC, UML and Madeshis as members. Besides, the Prachanda sub-committee, the constituent assembly (CA) is also scheduled to meet Saturday. The CA meet will probably have to be postponed for the ninth time again if disputes aren’t settled Saturday by the Prachanda sub-committee; the CA won’t have any business to conduct. The assembly will vote on articles of a constitution without consensus on them between parties. nnnn CLASS 11 EXAMINATIONS FROM SUNDAY Kathmandu, 12 May: Preparations have been completed for Sunday’s Class 11 examinations, officials said. Altogether 462,000 students are appearing for the tests being held after tests for Class 2 were completed Friday amid nation-wide strikes inconveniencing students. Nnnn LEADERS OF BIG THREE BEGIN THEIR DAY SATURDAY WITH MEET AT PRACHANDA RESIDENCE Kathmandu, 12 May: Leaders of the Big Three began their day Saturday with a a summt at the Prachanda residence. The meeting was held ahead of the meeting of a sub-committee headed by the Maoist chief to resolve differences on articles to be included in a constitution. The sub-committee was revived Friday by the main constitution drafting committee. Nnnn
