PRESIDENT MEETS COLLECTIVELY WITH RULING PARTY LEADERS Kathmandu, 21 May: Presidnt Dr. Ram Baran Yadav met collectively with Maoist, NC, UML and Madeshi Morcha leaders in government and urged them to promulgate a constitution within the 27 May deadline asking them to be conciliatory. He met the ruling party leaders amid new hurdles and uncertainty in promulgation of a basic lw in the remaining six days. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai met separately with the president who was briefed by the government chief on the latest political situation. Nnnn CASES REGISTERED AGAINST 11 LAWMAKERS AT SPECIAL COURT FOR MISUSE OF DIPLOMATIC PASSPORTS Kathmandu, 21 May: CIAA registered cases against 11 lawmakers, including Narad Muni Rana, for misuse of diplomatic passports at the special court Sunday, Yam Bihari reports in Annapurna Post.
