COUNRTY HEADING TOWARDS POLITICAL, CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS SAYS MADHAV KUMAR NEPAL Kathmandu, 2 June : Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the nation has headed to the constitutional and political crisis after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly (CA), RSS reports from Lalitpur. Speaking at an interaction on 'Current Political Crisis and Solution' organised here today, the former Prime Minister said though the political parties trade charges each other for the dissolution of the CA, current constitutional crisis was followed by the irresponsible manner of the UCPN-Maoist. The constitution was to be promulgated through political consensus among all and it was the issue related to all people instead of the UCPN-Maoist, Nepal said. However, the government should have initiated with the leaders of political parties in this regard so the UCPN-Maoist is to blame for the present constitutional and political crisis, he added. Leader Nepal said his party was not against federalism but some leaders from Madhesi and indigenous communities have been deviated due to false publicity launched against the party. During the programme, Prof Krishna Pokhrel said differences of opinion were seen in all political parties but the political leaders should move ahead by institutionalising the achievements received from the various movements. He said there was no alternative to political consensus. nnnn
