DETAILS OF SLC RESULTS Kathmandu, 13 June: Altogether 208.187 or 47.16 percent regular students passed this year’s SLC examinations; results were announced late Wednesday afternoon. A total of 528,257 candidates, including 445,974 in the regular stream and 82,283 in the exempted stream sat for the test this year. Altogether 51.81% boys and 42.26% girls passed the tests. Among them,17,760 got distinction, 77,257 first division, 93,830 second division and 8,791 with pass division, In the exempted category, 15.10% boys and 12.63% girls passed. -- 126 in first division, 7,595 with second division and 2,828 pass division. MORE. 2 INDIAN WOMEN ARRESTED WITH 6KG HASH Kathmandu, 13 June: The Police of Bahuwarba Bhatha, Parsa district have arrested two Indian women along with hemp this [Wedneday] morning. A police patrol team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar Yadav arrested them, according to the District Police Spokesman of Parsa, DSP Rabindra KC. They were arrested along with 6 kg of hemp hidden in their bodies. Likewise, police also arrested Subba Sunar and Nishant Gurung of Tanahu along with TD Jesic narcotic drug, the office said. They were arrested with 245 pieces of TD Jesic and are in police office custody for necessary action. nnnn
