MAOIST EXTENDED CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEET 29 JUNE
Kathmandu, 1 June: The UCPN-Maoist has called the central committee’s extended meeting for June 29- July 1 to fix how to move ahead in the changed context including on the party’s dispute, RSS reports.
The meeting of the Central Committee held at party headquarters at Parisdanda decided to call the meeting.
Vice Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist Narayankaji Shrestha said the Mohan Baidya group will be appealed for strengthening party unity and all the party rank and file to make proper environment for party unity.
Likewise, the meeting also decided to form joint front of Janajatis, Madhesis and federalists from the centre to the districts.
The party also decided to hold mass meetings on June 15 in all the 75 districts to make clear among the people the reality behind the Constituent Assembly dissolution and central leaders will address them, he said.
The meeting also congratulated the Everest Expedition team under the Lumbini Sagarmatha Peace Campaign led by UCPN-Maoist Central Member Krishna KC and to wish for speedy recovery of Politburo Member Nanda Kishor Pun.
However, the Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya group was not present in the meeting.

TRANSPORT OFFICE BOMBED IN NEPALGUNJ
Kathmandu, 1 June: A bomb has exploded at the office of the Bheri Transport Service at local Karkando Chowk on Thursday night, RSS reports Nepalgunj..
According to the District Police Office, the explosion did not cause any damage to the office. However, it said the assailants set fire to a bus parked on the road near the office.
Bus driver Lalit Jaisi escaped unhurt as he managed to get out of the bus immediately after the explosion, police said.
