MINISTER RAJENDRA MOHOTO PREDICTS CONSENSUS GOVERNMENT SOON Kathmandu, 29 June: Minister for Health and Population Rajendra Mahato has said a national consensus government could be formed soon as per the five-point agreement reached among the political parties. At a programme organized in the Capital on Friday, Minister Mahato said the national consensus government would be formed within a month and consensus on constitution was possible within this period. "Consensus government was only after the consensus on constitution with federalism. None should obstruct the agreement for this,” said Mahato. Also the Chairman of Sadbhavana Party, Minister Mahato said his party was also concerned over the remarks the prime minister made at the Tribhuvan International Airport following his arrival from Brazil. The government would bring full budget at any rate, he claimed, adding that the election to the constituent assembly on November 22 was doubted because some provisions on constitution were in need of amendment for this. He reminded that he met with top leaders of the main parties in a bid to forge national consensus. In another note, he said he was bringing a plan to send doctors in the remote areas. Minister Mahato warned of action on the government doctors once complaints on them working in the private clinics were lodged. nnnn
