CENTRAL COMMITTEE UPDATE
Kathmandu, 28 June: Sixteen central committee members have been appointed to the Rashtriya Madesh Samajbadi Party formally launched by its Chairman
Sharat Singh Bhandari after a two-day national meet Thursday.
Bandari was unanimously elected.
Most central committee members have been expelled from MJFL of
Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar.
There’s constitutional provision for 61 members in the central committee.
“There’s a feeling Madeshi leaders are prone to money and power. The
party will fight for their rights,” Bhandari said at the launch.

BARA DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION STARTS DEMOLISHING STRUCTUES BUILT BY RAM BAHADUR BAMJAN
Kathmandu, 28 June: Bara district administration has started demolishing
permanent structures built by Ram Bahadur Bamajan and his followers at Ranjanpuri forest spread over 900 hectarers.
The forest was captured.
Bamjan said he was meditating there.
He has moved to Sindhuli from the Bara forest.

RS.1.6 MILLION ROBBED FROM TWO TEACHERS
Kathmandu, 28 June: A masked gang Wednesday evening decamped with Rs.1.6 million they looted from two school teachers at Sukepokhari of Tehrathum.
The money was salary of teachers of two schools just withdrawn from a
bank in the eastern district
Teachers have been identified as Chudamani Ghimire and Loknath
Pakuwal.
Ghimire and Pakuwal were heading for the schools from the bank.
Teachers are being questioned by police..
