FORMER KING SAYS HE’S PERSON OF MODERATION Kathmandu, 22 July: The last king described himself as a “person of moderation not extremes” “My wife and I look after our grandchildren,” he revealed. Then Crown Prince Paras hasn’t returned to Nepal.. “He’s thinking of staying there.’ Gyanendra Shah said. Paras has been staying mostly in Thailand and Singapore. The day begins with morning exercises with soothing effect, Shah added. He revealed most of his time is devoted to reading at the computer and following news. Music interests him, but hasn’t been listening to it lately, according to self-ad,issop o a 50-minute interview delving mostly on personal matters. “I have faith Nepali people have become more conscious. I am also optimistic for the nation. “Many mountains remain to be crossed..” the former king said of difficulties ahead. He asked people to show ‘love for Nepal and Nepalis’/ “First the nation beyond self,” Shah added. nnnn.
