FULBARI INUNDATED IN KAILALI BY HEAVY RAIN Kathmandu, 7 July: More than 150 houses were submerged at Fulbari in Kailali Friday after continuous rain for several days. Villagers have been removed to safer ground. nnnn THREE PROJECTS, INCONCLUDING RECONSTRUCTION OF POLICE BEATS, APPROVED BY PEACE FUND Kathmandu, 7 July: Peace Fund board Friday under the peace and reconstruction ministry sanctioned Rs.1.3 billion for three projects, including reconstruction of 77 police beats of Nepal Police destroyed during the 10-year people’ war. Altogether Rs. 90.57 million has been set aside for programmes to be run by ministries of law and justice and peace and reconstruction. Government and foreign donors contribute to the Peace Fund managed by government. nnnn
