GANGA BAHADUR THAPA APPOINTED CHEF DE MISSION OF NEPALI CONTINGENT FOR LONDON OLYMPICS 2012 Kathmandu, 21 July National Sports Council (NSC) Vice-chairman Ganga Bahadur Thapa has been appointed chef de mission of the Nepali team for the London Olympics 2012. The internationally recognized Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) appointed Thapa Friday; the other NOC led by Rukma Shumshere Rana is recognized by the supreme court. Thapa was appointed after NSC member-secretary Secretary Yubaraj Lama turned down a proposal for his appointment. There are again more officials than players in the Nepali Olympic contingent. Nnnn .
