ALL SERVICES, EXCEPT EMERGENCY, DISRUPTED AT TUTH Kathmandu, 17 Aug.: All services, except, emergency, were closed at TUTH in Maharajguj as well Friday amid demands by hospital doctors and staff for the appointment of independent and senior persons to manage top positions. The health of Prof. Dr. Govinda KC who resumed a hunger strike for the third time pressing the demands, worsened Friday. President Dr.. Ram Baran Yadav intervened on behalf of the striking doctors with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Thursday. As demands were pressed, government appointed a junior doctor and UML loyalist deal of TUTH. The strike has inconvenienced the sick. Nnnn NT RECORDS INCREASED PROFIT Kathmandu, 17 Aug.: Nepal Telecom (NT) last fiscal year recorded increased profit. NT recorded a Rs.13,708, 405,873 profit in Q4 ending 15 July. The company recorded a Rs.10,081,054,836 profit in the same quarter the previous year. nnnn
