DETAILS OF PRESIDENT, NC DISTRICT PRESIDENTS DISCUSSIONS UPDATE
Kathmandu, 3 Aug.: District presidents of the Nepali Congress met with President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and put forth their concerns over the country's latest political uncertainty and constitutional crisis, RSS reports..
During the meeting held at the Sheetal Niwas, today, they drew the attention of the President on the government's working style, resolution of constitutional crisis and political stalemate, said Nuwakot district president, Jagadish Narsingh KC.
On the occasion, President Yadav said that he is in favour of giving outlet to the country's political crisis within the constitutional boundary, and added that he had requested political parties frequently to move ahead by forging national consensus.
He said that he is determined that the political parties should be active to give an outlet to the constitutional crisis within the constitutional boundary and requested the political parties to give an outlet to the country by forging
consensus sooner.
During the meeting, the President asked with the district presidents about the development and political activities in different districts and the daily life of the people of Tarai, hilly and mountain regions.KC said that they requested the President to play an effective role as the patron to end the constitutional and political crisis in the country at the earliest.
The district presidents put forth their concerns to President Dr. Yadav that how the process of resolving the country's constitutional crisis would move ahead in the context that the Election Commission has clarified that the elections declared by the government could not be held in the slated time.
A total of 55 district presidents had visited the President.
