GOLD PRICE INCREASES Kathmandu, 24 Aug. Gold gained in the bullion market again Friday. It was traded for Rs. 58,903 per tola -- an increase of Rs. 303; the price shot up to Rs.58,700 per tola Thursday. Nnnn JANAMORCHA NEPAL ALSO OPPOSES RULE BY ORDINANCE Kathmandu, 24 Aug.: The Janamorcha Nepal has deplored the government's preparations for prolonging the stay in power through ordinances or non constitutional methods while the country is in constitutional and political crisis, RSS reports.. In a press communiqué, the Janamorcha accused the government of curtailing the rights of CDO and increasing the dealings in weapons, making community army, and amending some quarter to a dozen laws including Army Act and changing legal and constitutional issues. General Secretary Sadhya Bahadur Bhandari in the statement deplored the sticking to power through ordinances instead of giving a speedy outlet from high level political consensus, removing transition and forming a consensus government immediately. Nnnn VIRAL FEVER ALSO HITS PARBAT VILLAGE Kathmandu, 24 Aug.: A village in Parbat district has been gripped by the viral fever with the change in weather conditions, RSS reports from Phalebas, Parbat.. The entire Barrachaur Village Development Committee has been affected by an epidemic outbreak of viral fever for the past few days. The disease that was detected in some of the students at the Janasewa Primary Secondary School based in Ward No.-1, Patal, and later spread in the entire village. As many as 172 people have fallen sick due to the viral epidemic. The school has been closed for five days after the number of students and teachers suffering from the fever soared, said school Principal Eknarayan Parajuli. Symptoms like dizziness, headache, vomiting and fever have been seen on the victims. Students have complained of such symptoms since last Tuesday, he said. Similarly, students at the Aambari Secondary School located at Ward no.6 in the village have also suffered the symptoms of viral fever. It is learnt that some 15 new patients of viral fever are found in a day. However, Dr Sagar Raj Bhandari of the District Hospital, Parbat has urged the people not to panic since it is a seasonal fever. He advised the people to drink only purified or boiled water, not to eat stale food and consume plenty of liquid. The patients are deprived of treatment for lack of doctors during the outbreak of epidemic. Nnnn
