NO KFC FOR KATHMANDU CITY DWELLERS FOR SECOND WEEK Kathmandu, 21 Aug. : Representatives of Devyani International Nepal -- local franchisee of KFC, Pizza Hut and Cream Bell - boycotted a meeting brokered by FNCCI at the government’s Labor Office Tuesday for the third time. The multinational company closed down its two outlets in the capital last week after activists of one of two Maoist unions assaulted a worker with the human resources department of the popular eatery. The company was employing 180 Nepalis. Surya Garments also closed down after union problems. nnnn
