POKHARA PROTESTS DEMANDING AIRPORT CONTINUED WEDNESDAY Kathmandu, 29 Aug.: Locals of the resort town of Pokhara symbolically formed a human chain Wednesday and symbolically dug up the site of the town’s international airport. Wednesday was the fifth day of protests demanding an airport. Protests came amid revelations ruling Maoists have collectedfunds for the party as commission to construct the airport. nnnn
