Dahal's statement on Saturday that the basis of the five-point consensus had been finished and Nepali Congress will not get the leadership of the government, was another ploy to become PM once again, he said. At a meeting with leading workers of the CPN-UML on Sunday morning in Rajbiraj, he said the present government's life was prolonged as the Nepali Congress did not present its candidate for PM, Oli said. Although it was said that NC will lead the next government, it could not fix a candidate for PM because of internal wrangling and therefore the present government got the continuity, he said. The UML leader said as the Congress leaders thought that UCPN- Maoist will kindly present them the post of prime minister, they refused our no-confidence motion proposal and this situation came as UML and NC were naive. The UCPN-Maoist politics of state capture will not be successful, he said, adding the country was made a prisoner of indecision because of the present government. Likewise, at a press meet organised by the Press Chautari Saptari, in Rajbiraj, he said the party's disgruntled leaders have been like balloons filled by foreigners. He said they will fly as long as there is air inside and when the foreigners stop supporting them they will be nothing. "The party does not want to take action against the disgruntled nationalities leaders, we only want to convince them, otherwise, they will get punished themselves", he said. Regarding the resignation of the prime minister, he said there is no meaning in seeking resignation of the PM who has been already become caretaker. "We only want national consensus, not his resignation," he said. nnnn
