CARETAKER GOVT. ASKS PRESIDENT TO PROMULGATE TWO MORE ORDINANCES Kathmandu, 10 Sept, :The caretaker government of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Monday sent two more ordinances to the president for promulgation as the head of state put several ordinances on his shelf without promulgation. .The cabinet.Monday sent ordinances to amend laws to implement a republic and forma a railway board, Tourism Minister Post Bahadr Bogati said. The prime minister has hit out publicly at the president for tying his hands and feet to prevent him from working. The cabinet also asked the president to remove hurdles to fill vacancies in constitutional bodies. Appointments haven’t been made lately in the absence of parliament which has to confirm selection at meetings of a parliamentary hearing committee. The vacancies couldn’t be filled earlier because of lobbying by parties to appoint lackeys. Cabinet also decided to form a Karnali Development Board. Nnnn
