HELICOPTER WITH PM MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING ALONG RAPTI RIVER Kathmandu, 15 Sept. A helicopter with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and his team of offiials going to Jumla from the capital made an emergency landing Saturday at along Rapti river in Banke The chopper is now in Nepalgunj. Rain has been lashing the far-West. The premier was proceeding to Jumla to spend a night at a village in the District as part of a monthly programme. Nnnn VDCs IN KAILALI INUNDASTED Kathmandu, 15 Sept. Flood waters have entered nearly 18villages in Kailali inundating at least 1,000 houses as level of rivers, including Karnali rise following incessant heavy rain. Dhangadi in the district is waterlogged, Nepal Red Cross says there are no human casualties although domestic animals have been swept away. People are moving to higher and safer places for protection while some have gone across to the Duduwa National park in India for shelter. nnnn
