MORE REPORTS OF FLOOD DAMAGE; KAILALI HIT Kathmandu, 2 Sept.: Floods triggered by incessant rainfall since Saturday night has inundated around 150 houses in Mohanapur, Thingharuwa, Katanpur area of Thapapur VDC in Kailali district, RSS reports from Dhangadi. Some of the houses were inundated with up to two feet high flood water damaging daily commodities stored in the houses, according to police. A team led by Padma Bista, police inspector at the Area Police Office, Bhajani, has been deployed for the rescue of the flood victims. According to District Police Office, no human casualty has been reported so far in the floods. Similarly, majority of the settlements and roads in Hasanpur, Baiyabehadi, Bishalnagar and others in Dhangadhi municipal area have been inundated. Some schools remained closed on Sunday after roads were inundated and vehicular movement affected. Nnnn HUSBAND, WIFE OF DHANUSHA KILLED IN TRACTORACCIDENT Kathmandu, 2 Sept.: A couple from Dhanusha died in a tractor Sunday at Ekraiya VDC-4, Hekkaha.in Sarlahi. Uttimlal Mahato, 50, and his wife Rajkumari, 40, were killed. At least 10 otherswere injured. nnnn
