RESULTS OF TESTS TAKEN BY FORMER MAOISTS FOR JOINING ARMY PUBLISHED Kathmandu, 19 Sept.: The result of the written exams of ex-combatants from the third division of Shaktikhor Chitwan has been published on Wednesday, RSS reports from Ratannagar, Chitwan.. According to the Shaktikor division, 215 among 216 ex-combatants passed the written test. Nepal Army Spokesperson Ramindra Chhetri said out of total 1,445 ex-combatants sat in exam, 15 failed. The subject exam was held on September 16. The selection of contents in questions was based on the subjects that are taught up to grade seven in schools. For the posts lower than officer, they need to have passed grade five. Madhu Bilas Pandit of Army Integration Special Committee Secretariat said almost all cantonments have published results and it was being received in the secretariat. After the publications of the result, medical test of the successful combatants has begun. Secretariat Coordinator Balananda Sharma said final result of the ex-combatants would be published on September 29. Meanwhile, various examinations are being held for the selection round of officers at Chainpur, Chitwan.
