SEARCH AND RESCUE MISSION TO RESUME MONDAY ON MANASLU Kathmandu, 23 Sept.:; Amid bad weather, Sunday’s search and rescue mission byhelicopter was called off Sunday on the 8163 meters high Mount Manaslu where bodies of nine climbers were recovered and flown to the capital. The mission will resume Monday. The first accident of the autumn climbing season is one of the worst in Nepal Himalaya. Nine climbers are still missing and 13 were injured. nnnn NEPALI MUSLIMS PROTEST AGAINST ANTI-ISLAM MOVIE Kathmandu, 23 Sept.: Sixteen Nepali Muslim organizations Sunday at a joint news conference demanded from the government strong action against producers of anti-Islam film ´Innocence of Muslims´ produced in USA. Islamic Association Nepal Chairman Gulam Rasul Miya said a memorandum will be submitted to the US embassy Monday against the film that has been condemned in the Muslim countries. UN General Secretary Ban Ki-mooon said the movie misuses free expression. Chairman of Muslim Ittehad Association Taaj Mohammud warned embasymay be picketed if demands are ignored. nnnn ________________________________________
