TWO TARA AIR AIRCRAFT INVOLVED IN INCIDENTS AT
POKHARA AIRPORT
Kathmandu, 21 Sept.: Two aircraft of Tara Airlines were
involved in incidents at Pokhara airport Friday and no lives were lost.
A rear tyre of a German-built twin-engine Dornier of the airline punctured whilelanding at the airport from Jomsom, Mustang.
All the passengers on board were safe, police said,
Nepal Amy and Nepal Police helped tow the aircraft.
The left wing of the Tara Air Twin Otter was damaged as it skidded off the
runway while taking off for Dolpa with four passengers and two crew
members.

CRISIS HAS TO ENDED SAYS NEPAL
Kathmandu, 21 Sept.: Senior leader of the CPN-UML and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said there is no alternative for the present government to ending the present political and constitutional crisis in the country, RSS reports.
Speaking at a memorial meeting organized at the Ganeshman statue premises at Tokha Ganeshsthan by the Ganeshman Singh Centre to mark the 15 th memorial day of the late Ganeshman Singh, he said it is not justified to stick to power by prolonging the country´s transition.
Senior leader Nepal said efforts for consensus were being made and a way out will come for ending the crisis and that the exit of the present government is the first condition for the resolution of the country´s crises.
Nepal said the country is feeling the absence of a seasoned and unselfish statesman like Ganeshman, who does not hanker after power in the present political arena.
Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakashman Singh said other issues will get an outlet only after formation of a national consensus government, and added that for that, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai should step down.
He said the politics revolving around power is never long-lasting.General Secretary Singh expressed the view that all the parties should stand at one place forending the current crisis as Ganeshman Singh had made the people´s movement in 2046 BS successful by bringing all communist parties at one place.
Similarly, Central member of NC, Narahari Acharya, said all the parties should be involved selflessly to find out solution to the country´s crises.
Chairman of the Centre, Baburaja Chitrakar, said Ganeshman was far from the greed of power for national welfare and added that a leader, who wants to be a statesman, should adopt that very path.
On the occasion, Nepal planted saplings of Rudrakshya and Singh and Acharya planted saplings of camphor tree.
