PARTIES SPREAD DONATION TERROR IN CHITWAN Kathmandu, 6 Oct.: Entrepreneurs and private organizations' promoters in Chitwan said that they are being terror ized by ' donation terror ' form sister organisation of different political parties ahead of festive season, RSS reports from Chitwan.. Political parties and their sister organizations have been seeking donation s from the Chitwan-based entrepreneurs since two months under various titles, said an entrepreneur. Nepali Congress affiliated health workers also collected a large amount of donation s from different educational institutions to organise its central gathering in Chitwan few weeks back. Similarly, the CPN (UML) also managed to collect a huge amount of money through donation s for organizing the party's district convention last month. A private school's Principal said that student unions affiliated to the CPN-Maoist and UCPN (Maoist) are seeking 'fixed' amount for organizing the district-level and central-level programmes. Chitwan district committee chairman of Private and Boarding Schools' Organization Nepal (PABSON) Bel Bahadur Gurung said that the school promoters are in immense trouble as ‘ donation s terror ’ stretched all over the district. Likewise, Chairman of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr Til Chandra Bhattarai said that the ‘ donation terror ’ by the political parties and their sister wings have irked the entrepreneurs. However, ‘ donation terror ’ has come down slightly after the police organized an interaction programme along with entrepreneurs and political parties as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramesh Kharel was posted in Chitwan.
