PRACHANDA HOLDS DISCUSSIONS WITH KHANAL, KOIRALA
Kathmandu, 27 Oct.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda held separate discussions with top opposition NC and UML leaders Saturday to end a prolonged deadlock.
The Maoist boss began discussions by holding separate talks with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and Madhdv Kumar Nepal.
Prachanda them held talks with NC President Sushil Koirala.
Prachanda presented a written draft to Khanal to end a deadlock immediately rejected by the UML leader Saturday.
The Maoist boss proposed an agreement for an outlet by Tihar—he proposed three solutions, including reinstatement of constituent assembly, elections or a government of independents.
Khanal said election is the only outlet.
