1,460 FORMER MAOIST COMBATANTS TO JOIN NC TRAINING CENTERS FOR INTEGRATION S Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: Altogether 1,460 former Maoists who opted to join Nepal Army will join training centers of Nepal Army (NA)Wednesday after a 45-day holiday following their selection. Officers will be sent to Kharipati beyond Bhaktapur and other will undergo training at seven other centers. The ranks of the officers haven’t been designated as yet. A special committee headed ex-officio by the prime minister and whose tenure was extended one month by cabinet Tuesday will take up the issue. nnnn RAJU KIRAN APPOINTED CORPORATE GENERAL MANAGER KGH HOTELS Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: Raju Kiran has been appointed corporate general manager of KGH Group of Hotels and Resorts, an announcement said. He has a 12-year experience as senior manager in 5 star hotels in Nepal and abroad. The group runs Kathmandu Guest House, Thamel, Park Village, Budhanilkantha,Waterfront Resort, Pokhara, Buddhamaya Garden, Lumbini, and Maruni Sanctuary Lodge, Sauraha, Chitwan. Nnnn ANUP KUMAR UPADHAYA DIRECTOR GENERAL OF ELECTRICITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT Kathmandu, 21 Nov.” Anup Kumar Upadhaya has been appointed director general of Electricity Development Department by energy ministry.
