NC, UML WRITING TO PRESIDENT NOT TO PROMULGATE BUDGET THROUGH ORDINANCE Kathmandu, 8 Nov.: Opposition NC and UML are writing formally to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Wednesday not to issue an ordinance to proclaim a budget for the remaining eight months of the current fiscal year The opposition said it has no support for a unilateral budget being announced by government. The two biggest opposition and other like-minded parties are finalizing and announcing detailed protests Thursday.one day before NC’s anti-government protest and show of force Friday in the capital. In the absence of parliament, the caretaker government is announcing a budget which the president may not promulgate as he asked government to bring a buddget acceptable to all parties.
