PRESIDENT YADAV DRAGGED INTO CONTROVERSY
Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: CPN Maoist Wednesday said in a statement
President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has made a ’serious mistake’ in giving his assent to a government recommendation overnight to promulgate a budget for eight
months of the current fiscal year.
The statement signed by Chairman Mohan Baidhaya and General Secretary Raam Bahadur Thapa said the presidential move is against spirit of :article 96 (A) of theinterim constitution.
The president should have brought the government on a constitutional track, the statement added.
CPN Maoist said the role of the president was ‘suspicious’
NC central committee also said the president made a mistake in going along with the government in announcing the budget which opposition said should have been brought through consensus.
The president has been drawn into a controversy while Maoists are happy.

Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: CPN-Maoist led by Mohan Baidhaya has withdrawn call for a Nepal banda
The party that split from UCPN Maoist leading the government called the bandh to press 70 demands.
Baidhaya’s party called for obstructing the movement of Indian-registered
vehicles a ban on screening Hindi movies.
