FOREIGN MINISTER SHRESTHA STRESSES APPROPRIATE
FOREIGN POLICY
Kathmandu,14 Dec.: Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayankaji Shrestha has stressed on the need of appropriate foreign policy to safeguard the national sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence, RSS reports.
Minister Shrestha made this remarks by sending a written message to a workshop 'Principals and Strategies of Nepal's Foreign Policy and Protocol' organised by the Institute of Foreign Affairs in the Capital on Friday.
“The bilateral ties among the neighboring and international sector should be developed by making understanding on the mutual respect and interest, co-existence, coordination, and non-interference,” read the message.
Similarly, other participants of the interaction programme stressed the need of adopting foreign policy focusing on national interest as per the national geo- political situation.
“The political parties should be further sensitive on issues of foreign policy at a time when the country's constitution could not be drafted and prepare concrete plans for the national interest, said foreign affairs expert, Binod Prasad Bista at the conference.

530KG HSH RECOVERED DURING RAID IN DHADING
Kathmandu, 14 Dec.: A trafficker was arrested Thursday with 530kg hash recovered from a home in Bhumesthan VDC, Dhading district.
Raji Kabar was presented before media Friday in the district.
