LIGHTNING KILLS ONE, INJUES NINE IN RUKUM Kathmandu, 19 Jan.:A person died while nine others were injured in a lightning occurred at Purtimkanda VDC in the district on Friday evening, RSS reports from Rukum. Top Bahadur Pun, 21, from ward no 6 of the Purtimkanda VDC died on the spot due to the lightning, said Area Police Office, Chaurajahari. Nine others injured with lightning are hard of hearing and limbs cramp. All injured ones were being taken to the Chaurajahari Hospital for treatment, said police inspector Krishna Gopal Shrestha.
