Kathmandu, 22 Jan. The opposition out on the streets to bring down the Maoist-led government of Baburam Bhattarai will attempt Wednesday to prevent the
entry into Dailekh the district by three top Maoist leaders.
The parties Tuesday announced a district bandh until four in the afternoon
Wednesday.
Chairman Prachanda, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kazi Shrestha are scheduled to visit the district for a party meet.
Bhattarai and Shrestha are party vice-chairmen.

Kathmandu, 22 Jan.: : Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed his confidence that the upcoming general convention of the party would bring drastic changes in the country, RSS reports from Sindhulimadi..
Addressing the fourth district convention of the party in Sindhuli on Tuesday, party Chairman Dahal said the upcoming unity general convention would bring changes that the 'reactionary forces' would have never expected.
He urged the opposition parties not to take abortive efforts to corner the UCPN-Maoist.
Also speaking on the occasion, party Vice Chairman and Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said his stay in the government was meant for preventing the country from going towards counterrevolution.
He urged the party cadres to understand the compulsions of the government at a time when the nation was passing through hard times.
