SECOND SUCCESSIVE WIN FOR NEPALI WOMEN IN CRICLET Kathmandu, 25 Jan.: Nepal defeated UAE by 86 runs Friday in the ACC Women’s Championship at Thailand., The win was the second in two days; Bhutan lost to Nepal Thursday . Chasing a target of 146 runs, UAE scored only 59 runs in 22.4 overs. Nepal won the toss and batted first scoring 145 runs for the loss of five wickets in cated 25 overs. nnnn . TU TEACHER PROTESTS CONTINUE Kathmandu, 25 Jan.: : Tribhuvan University (TU) teachers continued their sit-in protest for the second day today at the TU main gate demanding that the past agreements signed between the TU and TU teachers should be implemented, RSS reports from Kirtipur.. The University teachers had organized the sit-in since 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, today, saying the TU had remained indifferent on bringing the past agreement to implementation. The TU teachers have demanded that the process for the permanency of the lecturers that have been working in contract basis should be forwarded, advertisement for the additional posts for Reader and Professor should be called, and others, that were signed between the TU administration and the TU Teachers´ Union on September, 2012. We are forced to organize the protest as the University administration remained indifferent on the agreement, said chairman of the TU Teachers´ Union, Prem Raj Khaniya nnnn
