BOMBS DEFUSED IN JHAPA Kathmandu, 14 Feb.: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army today [Thursday] defused two pipe bombs found in a bus heading towards Kathmandu from Kakadvitta. According to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sher Bahadur Basnet, a team led by Captain at Charali-based Indradhwoj Battalion, Suman Neupane, defused the bombs. A patrolling police team had found the bombs on Tuesday while carrying out checking of the bus (Na 4 Kha 6730). Police also arrested four people suspecting their involvement in planting the bombs. Investigation into the case is underway, said Basnet. Likewise, Ramesh Khatiwada, Nagendra Chandra and Manoj Kumar Shrestha were elected the first, second and third Vice-chairmen of the Association.
