FUEL TRANSPORT WORKERS WITHDRAW PROTSTS Kathmandu, 5 March: Family of a tanker driver killed across the border in India last week will receive a compensation of Rs,800,000 Following the aard announced Tuesday at talks between workers and Nepal Oil Workers, a strike was withdrawn and the movement of POL products began. Workers will also be insured for Rs.500,000 and authorities will work for security of transporters The strike had created shortages and queues waited patiently at petrol stations to fill their talks. BHagawan Koirala to resume his duties as chief of the THTH in Maharjgunj. Dr.Koirala resigned saying government didn’t provide money to meet financial shortage of the hospital and doctors were involved in malpractices. nnnn
