INERIM ELECTION COUNCIL BEING INSALLED Kathmandu, 14 March: A 11-ember interim election council headed by Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi is being installed by 9 in the morning Thursday before supreme court special bench is scheduled to conduct on the legal status of an election government. The bench is conducting hearings on two writs by two advocates arguing the installation of a Regmi government was constitutional. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav is administering oath of office and secrecy to Ragmi who hasn’t resigned ac chief justice. Several parties are gheraoeing Shiial Niwas, the official of residence of the president, as the head of state administers the oath. Twenty-two small parties have protested the moves to appoint Regmi and have threatened to come out on the street. nnnn
