PRESIDENT PRAYS FOR EARKY END TO DEADLOCK AT PASHUPATINATH UPDATE
Kathmandu, 10 March; President Dr.Ram Baran Yadav said he prayed for a
consensus for an early resolution of the current deadlock while offering prayers at Pashupatinath Sunday on Manashibaratri.
One million devotees worshipped at the temple until 9 in the evening,
temple managers said.
Thousands of devotees are still at the temple complex lighting bonfires and observing the night of Lord Shiba.
A Malaysian devotee offered two million rupees at the temple, management said.

STUDENTS CALL FOR CALLBACK IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT HIKE
Kathmandu, 10 March: Eleven student unions Sunday threatened protests
If government doesnlt rollack 9 o 15 percent hike inublic transport by early morning Monday.
They submitted a memorandum to the transport with demands Sunday.
Students said they will disrupt movement of vehicles for two hours in
front of campuses late Monday morning if demands aren’t met immediately.

Kathmandu, 10 March: Shankata willplay APF in the final of the Birat Gold Cup in Biratnagar Tuesday.
Shankata beat Sarashwoti Club by a solitary goal in Sunday’s second
