COOPERATION FOR VOTE SOUGHT Kathmandu, 23 April: Home Minister Madhab Ghimehe sought the help of Nepal Makdoor Kishan Party Chairman Narayan man Bijukakchaya’s help to run administration and conduct second constituent assembly elections. Minister Bidhayadhar Mallick assisted Ghimere in the talks. Bijujkakchaya demanded local elections also be held. Talks were held at the Bhaktapur leader’s residence. Nnnn COURT SEEKS COPY OF GOVT. DECISIONPUTTING LONDON EMBASSY UP FOR SALE Kathmandu, 23 April: The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked the Government to provide a copy of its decision to sell its Embassy building in London, rSS reports.. A joint bench of Justices Kalyan Shrestha and Baidhyanath Upadhyaya ordered the Government to provide a copy of the decision, if made, to sell the Embassy building in the hearing that took place on whether to issue an interim order on the same, according to assistant spokesperson at the Court Hemant Rawal. Earlier, a single bench of Acting Chief Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma had decided to invite both the sides for discussion on such a sensitive issue. The decision was in response to a writ petition filed by Padam Bahadur Gurung of GESO and advocate Tulasi Simkhada separately, demanding an interim order to stop the government's decision to sell the building. nnnn
