GOVT. DECIDES TO EXTEND SECURITY TO MEMBERS OF NHRC
Kathmandu, 4 April: The cabinet Thursday backed Wednesday’s decision of a
special committee for integration of former Maoist combatants to call for the return
of 32 weapons issued to two factions of Maoist leaders for their security by mid-May.
The cabinet also formed a committee headed by a secretary to manage camps where former Maoist fighters were kept.
Camp reports were sought within 15 days. .
. Government will pay dues of the camps in the development regions.
Government decided to extend personal security to members of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
