HOTEL BARAHI IN CHITWAN HEAVILY DAMAGED AFER ;IGHTNING STRIKE Kathmandu, 17 April: Hotel Barahi at Meghauli in west Chitwan has suffered heavy damage due to fire sparked by a thunderboltm RSS reports from Chitwan. Two buildings of the hotel caught fire due to lightning amidst a thunderstorm that swept across the area on Tuesday night. Police said the fire destroyed the roofs and most of the building. However, no human casualties have been reported. Goods and property worth around 1.2 million rupees have been gutted by fire . Locals and police doused the fire with the help of a fire engine, accolrding to police.
