RISHULI: More than 100 people have fallen sick at the Suryamati VDC in Nuwakot district after eating prasad (sacred cookies) at a fest held after a worship ceremony. A Sansari worship ceremony was held at the Rai settlement at Chaukhuda, Suryamati VDC-4 on Saturday and a feast was organised after the worship. They started falling sick since the evening on Saturday after eating at the feast, said Yadav Prasad Pandey, a local of the village. The District Public Health Office has sent a team of health workers with medicine to the VDC.
